Armitage hints at easing curbs on Pakistan Frontier post ISLAMABAD (APP): United States Deputy Secretary of State Richard Armitage has expressed the hope that Bush Administration would ease sanctions imposed on Pakistan, PTV reported.According to the report, the US official in an interview with CNN, he said, "we are intent on trying to develop relationship with more than 140 million people of Pakistan." He said there will be discussions with US Congress about lifting the post May 1998 curbs on Pakistan. |
