Taliban FM sends message to OIC

Islamabad, June 25, IRNA -- Maulvi Wakil Ahmad Motawakil, the Taliban Foreign Minister on Monday sent a letter to Abdul Wahid Bil Kazer, the Secretary General of OIC, to allow Taliban to represent Afghanistan at the Conference.
 
In the message, he asked the OIC Secretary to discuss this issue at the current OIC Foreign Ministerial Session in Mali.
 
According to Afghan sources, Mutawakkil said that with the opening of this representation, the OIC would be able to assess the social and economic problems of Afghan people.
