Afghan Taliban makes four cabinet changes ISLAMABAD, June 25 (Reuters) - The leader of Afghanistan's ruling Taliban movement, Mullah Mohammad Omar, made four ministerial changes in a cabinet reshuffle announced on Monday. The Taliban's official Voice of Shariat radio, monitored in Islamabad, said Mullah Mohammad Tahir Anwari had been made Planning Minister, replacing Mullah Sadoddin Sayed, who has been given the Public Works portfolio. It said Communications Minister Ahmadullah Matih had been made Agriculture Minister, replacing Mullah Abdul Latif Mansoor, who has been made the Mayor of Kandahar city. |
