Russian official meets FO, military officials - The News Int.

ISLAMABAD: Former Russian ambassador to Pakistan Alexander Alexi Alexeyev, who is presently visiting Pakistan, has held meetings with the senior Foreign Ministry and army officials.

Though the visit is being described as an informal trip, but, some of the officials say the South Asian regional situation and in particular Afghanistan imbroglio was the focus of discussions between the visiting former envoy and Pakistani officials. The officials were reluctant to characterise the visit as an official one.
