JUI flays UN decision on monitors Frontier Post PESHAWAR (Online): Protest Day against the deployment of UN observers and United Nations Security Council (UNSC) sanctions against the Taliban was observed through out the province on the call of Central Jammiat-e-Ulema Islam leader Maulana Fazl ur Rehman.Protestors in Peshawar, Charsadda, Nowshera, Mardan, Sawabi, Malakand, Dir, Sawat, Shangla, Kohistan, Boneer, Kohat, Hangu, Kark, Lakki Marwat, Tank, Dera Ismail Khan, Haripur, Abbottabad, Mansehra, Mahmand Agency, Khyber Agency, Karam Agency, South and North Wazirstan and other areas after the Friday prayers protested against the sanctions on the people of Afghanistan and deployment of United Nations Observers and termed it as a step against the whole Muslim Ummah. The observers maintained that the United Nations (UN) and the Security Council acting on the whims of the United States were challenging the Muslim Ummah to wage a war against their biased and unjust polices against the people of Afghanistan. They also termed the step as a direct interference in the internal affairs of Pakistan. |
