Call for more Iranian support Frontier Post TEHRAN: The ousted Rabbani government's permanent envoy to the United Nations, Rawan Farhadi, has said that Shias and Sunnis had been peacefully living together in Afghanistan and blamed the Taliban for fanning sectarian differences in Afghanistan.He said that no nation in the world is closer to Iranian culture, like the Afghans, adding but unfortunately, some Iranian politicians are less aware of the Afghan affairs in comparison with other countries. Farhadi said it would be better for Iran to support Afghanistan as an independent Afghanistan is in favor of the stability of the regional countries, particularly that of Iran. At the end, the permanent envoy of ousted Rabbani government to the UN requested the Iranian officials to continue supporting the Afghan nation. |
