Clinton threatens to declare Pakistan terrorist state

ISLAMABAD (NNI): President Bill Clinton of the United States has said Pakistan may have to be declared a terrorist state, a PTI report Tuesday said.

"The president made the comment during a recent fund-raiser meeting on the West Coast, in which the Indo-American Political Foundation, represented by its president Sunil Aghi, and others participated", the repot said.

When Aghi said that Pakistan needed to be declared a terrorist state in view of its continued support to terrorism, Clinton replied, "We don't know if that is effective, but at some point we may have to do that", the report quoting a press release of the foundation said...
