The District of Chal is Liberated Payam-e-Mujahid Tuesday, October 18 The district of Chal in Takhar province was liberated from Pakistani-Taliban occupation. A Mujahideen military source reports that the Mujahideen's coordinated attacks on enemy positions in Chal district began at 8:30 last night and by around 10:30 p.m. were able to take all of the district. During these battles, fifty enemy fighters joined the Mujahideen and fifty Kalashnikovs, two rocket launchers, one mortar and one anti-aircraft heavey machine gun were acquired by the Mujahideen. This Mujahideen military source also reports that today the heights of Aibar and Qara Bil were also taken by the Mujahideen. The Aibar and Qara Bil heights overlook Hazar Bagh and Baharak district. According to this source, with the taking of the Aibar and Qara Bil heights, the way is open for Mujahideen operations in Baharak district. |
