islamabad, march 4, irna -- pakistan government has decided to disarm the afghan refugees, staying in different camps. the provincial government of the north-west frontier province has asked the afghan commissionerate to furnish the list of those refugees who possess arms. the pakistani newspaper, 'frontier post' on saturday reported that some refugees have already been directed to collect their arms with the concerned police stations. pakistan government has prohited display and carrying of arms and stopped issuing fresh arms licences. ah/md/ah end. ::irna 04/03/2000 20:10
