32 opposition commanders defect to Taliban

KABUL (NNI): At least 32 opposition commanders along with their supporters and huge quantity of arms and ammunition defected to the Taliban in the outskirts of Laghman province, reports Radio Kabul.

The commanders called on Chief Administrative Eastern Zone, Maulvi Abdul Kabir at his office in Jalalabad and assured full support to the Islamic Emirates of Afghanistan.These commanders belong to Alishang and Daulatshan districts of Laghman province.

Speaking on the occasion, Maulvi Kabir lauded the high spirit of the commanders and said that the Islamic Emirates of Afghanistan has kept its door open for those who give up opposition and join the Mujahideen.

The commanders said that they have waged jehad for the enforcement of Islamic Shariah. They said their motive was the enforcement of Islamic system which has now been enforced by the Islamic Emirates of Afghanistan with the blessing of Allah Almighty.
