Taliban did not supply guns to hijackers: India ISLAMABAD (NNI): The Indian high ranking officials have rejected reports that Taliban assisted the hijackers of the Indian airliner by providing them more arms in the war-ravaged Afghanistan, reports VOA. The Indian National Security Advisor, Mishra said that the hijackers were not provided more guns in Afghanistan rather they took out the guns they were carrying from Nepal. The Indian Civil Aviation Minister said that India intends to deploy anti-terrorist commandos on most of the flights to check further hijacking. |
