Balochistan taking steps to ensure supply of flour at fixed rates, check smuggling to Afghanistan

QUETTA (January 25) : Balochistan government have taken necessary steps to maintain constant supply of wheat flour to the consumers at the prescribed prices.
..........Official sources claimed here on Monday that all law enforcing agencies were in a state of alert to check wheat and wheat flour smuggling from Balochistan to Afghanistan.
..........At the same time, round the clock vigil has been maintained at the market demand supply trend, ensuring availability of essential items such as wheat, wheat flour, rice, sugar, tea, spices, pulses, edible oil, ghee, beef, mutton, fish, poultry, poultry products, eggs and other kitchen items at the prices prescribed for each by the marketing committees, throughout the province.
..........These sources further maintained that monitoring cells at district levels were keeping constant watch on price trend in the interior of each district.
..........The border security forces along the Balochistan border with Afghanistan and Iran are equally alert to foil every bid of food grain smuggling from Balochistan.
..........About food grain stock particularly wheat and wheat flour, these sources said the province has sufficient stock which is constantly supplemented by supply either by the federal government or by any provincial government.
