Wheat sent to Kabul

ISLAMABAD, Jan 20: A second consignment comprising 11 trucks of wheat and one truck of medicines is being dispatched to Kabul on Thursday.
It may be recalled that on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, the government of Pakistan donated a gift of 5000 metric tons of wheat and medicines worth Rs10 million to the government and people of Afghanistan.
The first consignment was sent to Kabul prior to Eid-ul-Fitr. Pakistan has been occasionally sending humanitarian assistance to the government and people of Afghanistan.
