3 killed in Kabul explosion                                       

Islamabad, Dec 2, IRNA -- Three persons lost their lives when a      

powerful bomb went off in the Afghan capital, Kabul, on Friday       

evening.                                                              

    According to Afghan sources the explosion took place in          

Chihalsatoon locality of western Kabul.                              

    The cause of the explosion was the un-exploded ordnance, left from

the Afghan Jihad and the civil war.                                  

    The bomb exploded when three mine clearing workers were busy in  

clearing and defusing mines.                                         

    All the three victims were local workers of a mine-clearing
