30 kgs heroin seized on Tajik-Afghan border

ISLAMABAD (NNI): Tajik border security forces have seized over 30 kilomgrams of heroin on Afghan-Tajik border, reports VOA.

A spokesman of the security forces said that the drugs were seized from five Afghan smugglers who managed to escape. The Russian troops extend helping hand to Tajikistan in guarding Tajik border with Afghanistan.

Western countries allege that Afghanistan is the centre of drugs as narcotics are smuggled out from Afghanistan to Russia and Western countries.
