  islamic united front captures parts of kunduz province tehran, oct. 25, irna -- the forces of the afghanistan islamic government's defense minister, ahmad shah masood captured saturday the 'imam saheb' governorship in kunduz province, the embassy of afghanistan islamic government announced here sunday. the statement said that, in this operation eight tanks, 22 surfaceto air missiles and a vehicle belonging to the taliban forces were captured. 22 of taliban forces were also killed and 100 were taken prisoner by the forces of ahmad shah masood, the announcement said.
