TALIBAN
PLANES BOMB MASOOD'S AREAS (NNI, FEB 6)
ISLAMABAD: Taliban planes bombed opposition
commander Ahmed Shah Masood's strongholds north Kabul, Pakistan-based
representative of Hizb-e-Wahdat Nasir Zada told IRNA on Thursday.
Nasir Zada said the planes dropped bombs on
Panjsher, Jabul Siraj and Charikar. However, there was no casualty.
The bombardment came soon after anti-Taliban
forces fired rockets at the Kabul airport on Wednesday, although it also caused
little damage.--NNI
