Afghan-U.N. aid talks break down

KABUL, April, 20 (Reuters) - Talks between the U.N. and the Taleban militia on resuming aid to parts of Afghanistan were called off on Monday in a row over the participation of the U.N.'s Afghan aid coordinator, U.N. and Taleban sources said.


Taliban Army Says Cease-Fire Broken

KABUL, Afghanistan (AP) -- The Taliban religious army accused its enemies Sunday of launching attacks that violated a cease-fire recently brokered by a U.S. envoy.
